Well Pump & Septic Add-Ons

If you rely on a well or septic system, an optional add-on sold at checkout covers the rural equipment base plans leave out.

Which plan covers this

Well pump and septic coverage is not part of a base plan. It is an optional add-on, sold at checkout for an added price. Repairs to the systems in your base coverage are covered only on the Whole Home Repair plan. The HVAC Maintenance plan ($19.99/mo) covers seasonal tune-ups, not repairs.

What is well pump and septic add-on coverage?

Well pump and septic add-ons extend MyHappyHome™ membership to rural water and wastewater equipment that city plumbing plans often exclude—well pumps, pressure systems, and septic components you elect to cover. When pressure drops or a septic alarm sounds, coverage connects you to vetted pros under the add-on instead of starting from zero with the first pump truck that answers.

When should you call for well pump and septic add-ons?

Call when faucets sputter, the pressure tank short-cycles, or well pressure falls and will not recover. Call immediately for a septic alarm, sewage odors near the drain field, or toilets that flush poorly while other fixtures also struggle. Loss of well water or a septic backup needs prompt attention—do not keep running water into a failing system.

What usually fails?

Well pumps lose impellers or motors after sand wear; pressure switches stick and short-cycle the pump. Pressure tanks lose air charge and hammer the pump with rapid starts. Check valves fail and let water fall back down the casing. On septic, pumps fail, floats stick, and distribution boxes clog so effluent surfaces in the yard. Filters and effluent screens load until alarms trip.

How MyHappyHome™ coverage helps

Elect the MyHappyHome™ well and septic add-on so rural failures sit inside membership instead of outside the city plumbing list. Review membership plans before the next pressure drop or alarm.
