What is an HVAC maintenance plan?

An HVAC maintenance plan is a service agreement that schedules preventive tune-ups for a home's heating and cooling equipment, typically cleaning, inspection, and adjustment before peak heating or cooling season. It is designed to catch wear early and protect efficiency. A maintenance plan pays for tune-ups, not for repairs when a part fails.

Why it matters to you

The MyHappyHome™ HVAC Maintenance plan is $19.99/mo and covers tune-ups only, never repairs, and it can be purchased on its own. Repairs are covered only on the Whole Home Repair plan.

Practical guidance

Book cooling tune-ups in spring and heating tune-ups in fall, before the first extreme weather of the season. If you also want breakdowns covered, pair maintenance with a repair plan rather than relying on tune-ups alone.
