Toilet & Stoppage Repair

When your toilet won't clear or backs up, you call us — toilet clogs and stoppages are covered on the Whole Home Repair plan.

Which plan covers this

Repairs to toilets and stoppages are covered only on the Whole Home Repair plan, for future failures after the waiting period and up to the plan's limits. The HVAC Maintenance plan ($19.99/mo) covers seasonal tune-ups, not repairs.

What is toilet and stoppage repair coverage?

Toilet and stoppage repair coverage handles clogs and fixture failures that send wastewater where it does not belong—bowls that will not clear, overflows, and related drain backups. Under MyHappyHome™ membership, a vetted plumber clears or repairs the stoppage under plan terms instead of leaving you plunging overnight. Coverage includes cases where multiple fixtures show the problem is deeper than one bowl.

When should you call for toilet and stoppage repair?

Call when plunging fails twice, water rises toward the rim on every flush, or a second bathroom gurgles when the first toilet is used. Call immediately if sewage backs onto the floor or a cleanout discharges when a toilet is flushed. Multi-fixture backup is a main-line or stack issue—do not keep flushing. Also call for toilets that constantly run after a flapper or fill-valve failure.

What usually fails?

Toilet traps catch wipes, toys, and excess paper that a plunger cannot move. Wax rings fail and leak at the closet flange onto subfloor. Fill valves and flappers stick open and waste water. Further down the line, grease and roots create partial blockages that show up first at the lowest toilet. Augering the wrong line or ignoring a vent problem can leave the stoppage returning within days.

How MyHappyHome™ coverage helps

MyHappyHome™ sends a vetted plumber under membership so stoppages are cleared correctly and covered repairs replace failed toilet parts. Set up coverage on membership plans before the next overflow.
