Privacy Policy.

Last updated July 2026.

My Happy Home ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and membership program, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors to this website and to members of the My Happy Home home-repair membership program. By using this website or enrolling in a membership, you agree to the practices described here.

My Happy Home is based at 406 E Wabash St, O'Fallon, MO 63366. If you have questions, you can reach us any time using the contact details at the end of this policy.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Contact and account details you provide directly — such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing/service address, and details about your home and its systems and appliances — when you enroll in a membership, request service, apply for a job, or contact us through a form, by phone, or by text.
  • Membership and service records — your plan, coverage, service-request history, and communications with our member-support team and network providers.
  • Billing and enrollment activity — membership enrollment and billing occur in a separate hosted portal; see "Payment security" below.
  • Technical and usage data — collected automatically when you use our site, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring page, and interactions. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (see "Analytics, cookies, and call tracking").

How we use your information

  • To enroll you in and administer your membership and account.
  • To coordinate covered repairs with our network of independent service providers.
  • To respond to your questions and provide 24/7 member support.
  • To process membership billing and send account, billing, and service updates.
  • To send you text messages you have opted in to receive (see "Text messaging").
  • To measure, secure, operate, and improve our website and services.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and spam, and to comply with legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and deliver service:

  • Service providers dispatched to your home — the vetted, independent local provider assigned to a covered repair receives the information needed to complete it.
  • Operational service providers that support communications, text-messaging, hosting, customer support, and service coordination. The final vendor and subprocessor inventory requires confirmation before launch.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of members, the public, or My Happy Home.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some U.S. state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" more broadly to include certain disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising. See Your Privacy Choices for how to opt out of sale or sharing as those laws define it.

Analytics, cookies, and call tracking

Browser evidence from the current pre-live environment exposes Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4) , Google Ads/DoubleClick, and WhatConverts call tracking through an unapproved platform-injected configuration.

That configuration is a launch blocker. The observed vendors and identifiers are not approved My Happy Home tools or a final production inventory. Final production tool ownership and inventory require confirmation from the analytics owner and counsel.

The client-owned privacy controls provide cookie choices and an advertising opt-out for recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. The unapproved platform injection must be corrected so those controls run before any measurement tags. You can use the cookie banner, the "Your Privacy Choices" controls below, or your browser settings. Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with an opt-in choice for non-essential cookies.

Text messaging

If you opt in to text messages, we'll use them to send service, appointment, billing, and account updates related to your membership, and — only if you separately agree — occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of enrolling in or keeping a membership. Mobile opt-in data is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

Payment security

Public My Happy Home pages contain no payment-card number, security-code, or expiration fields. Membership enrollment and billing occur in the separate hosted portal.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide your membership, operate our business, and meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it to serve you.

Your California Privacy Rights — Do Not Sell or Share

This section, which also serves residents of other U.S. states with comparable laws, describes rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). It is anchored here as Your Privacy Choices and is linked from the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our website footer.

Current pre-live evidence. Browser evidence from the current pre-live environment exposes Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Ads/DoubleClick, and WhatConverts call tracking through an unapproved platform-injected configuration. That configuration is a launch blocker. The observed vendors and identifiers are not approved My Happy Home tools or a final production inventory. Final production tool ownership and inventory require confirmation from the analytics owner and counsel. The observed requests and cookies involve online identifiers and device or usage data; call-tracking requests may also involve phone and call metadata.

Sharing disclosure. We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent a final, approved production configuration constitutes "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CPRA, you have the right to opt out.

You have the right to:

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (as those terms are defined by law).
  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Delete personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right.

How to opt out. You can opt out of analytics/advertising cookies at any time using our cookie banner or the "Your Privacy Choices" control. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC): if your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we automatically treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing for that browser. To exercise the right to know, delete, or correct — or to submit an opt-out tied to your identity or through an authorized agent — use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or the contact details below. We will verify and respond within the time your state's law allows, and we offer an appeal path where required.
